The Toyota GT86 TRD is a limited edition of the much debated the rear-wheel-drive coupe released in 2012. However, the new coupe gets some new styling elements, but no power upgrade. The front fascia has an air dam in the center and is made from charcoal plastic. On the sides, the Equinox has pronounced fender flares. At the rear, the car has round taillights, a roof spoiler and a power programmable tailgate that can open to different heights.

The four-cylinder engine comes with a light electric power steering and the V6 with hydraulic steering that is more direct. The standard 17-inch wheels absorb every shock, providing a comfortable ride even on bumpy roads. The V6 models receive new dual-flow front dampers that improve handling and help the ride on rough surfaces.

On the inside, the 2013 Chevy Equinox LTZ has new features, including a universal garage door opener and an eight-way adjustable front passenger seat. The cabin is stylish with brushed aluminum accents and has a dramatic dash with sharp angles that create the impression of more space. The 2014 Jaguar F-Type

Jaguar Cars started the production for the Jaguar F-Type in 2013, a two seat sports car based on the platform of the XK convertible. Initially it was launched as a soft-top revealed at the 2012 Paris Motor Show with a coupe version expected to be launched next year. The 2014 Jaguar F-Type is the first roadster produced by Jaguar in the last 40 years. The convertible was worth the wait, blending performance, style and luxury into one incredible vehicle.

Although the E- and F-Type models are separated by 40 years of technological progress, the manufacturer refused to consider the 2014 Jaguar F-Type a tribute. However, there is a subtle styling resemblance with the original, including the circular taillight accents and the rounded side body panels. The F-Type is of course faster and far more aggressive than its ancestor. This vehicle will please both drivers who crave performance and those who are more conservative.

The 2014 Jaguar F-Type roadster is available in 3 trims: base, S and V8 S equipped with standard features such as automatic bi-xenon headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, rain-sensing wipers, heated side mirrors, LED running lights, a deployable rear spoiler, rain-sensing wipers and headlight washers. The base 2014 Jaguar F-Type is fitted with a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 engine that delivers 340 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque and is paired with a standard eight-speed automatic with manual shift control. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph (100 km) in 5.1 seconds. For the F-Type S model, designers preferred a V6 engine that delivers an impressive 380 hp and 339 lb-ft of torque that reaches 60 mph in 4.8 seconds. The 2014 Jaguar F-Type V8 S is equipped with an impressive 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with an output of 495 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque, accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.

The cabin is sporty with well bolstered seats, racy stitching, high-tech features and top notch materials. The central air vents rise from the dash and the top can be deployed in only 12 seconds at 30 mph. The downside of the 2014 Jaguar F-Type is the relatively small trunk of 6.9 cubic feet that is oddly shaped and can hardly fit a medium-size suitcase. Safety is not overlooked by the manufacturer. The F-Type has standard seat-mounted side airbags, stability and traction control, rollover protection bars and antilock disc brakes.

The Mini Cooper

A car doesn’t need to do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds to be a true classic. While Ferraris, Shelbys and Veyrons make the automotive headlines on a daily basis, the humble Mini Cooper occupies a special place in the hearts of car enthusiasts around the world. The ultimate symbol of 1960s British pop culture, the Mini Cooper is still going strong after more than 50 years.

Funnily enough, the Mini didn’t set out to be an icon. It had its origins in the 1956 Suez crisis, which affected oil supplies and led to gas rationing in the UK. This created demand for small, fuel-efficient cars, and BMC (the original manufacturer of the Mini Cooper) knew they needed to respond. They turned to Alec Issigonis to come up with the design, and by 1957 several prototypes had already been built. The new car launched in 1959 under two names – Morris Mini Minor and Austin Seven. The car rapidly gained in popularity, and came to be known simply as the Mini. It went on to be the most successful British car of all time, selling over 5.3 million vehicles between 1959 and 2000.

The Mini wasn’t just an economical car – it became the toast of racing circles, winning the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964, 1965 and 1967. It also gained a huge cult following, spurred on by the breathtaking chase scene in the 1969 classic film “The Italian Job.” The Beatles were also fans – George Harrison owned a psychedelic Mini which appeared in the 1969 film “Magical Mystery Tour.”


By the 1990s, the Mini had come under the control of Rover, which was then bought by BMW in 1994. In response to mounting losses, BMW broke up Rover in 2000, selling off well-known brands such as Land Rover and MG. However, it held on to the Mini brand, and launched a completely new version in 2001 that was much larger and more powerful. However, it still retained the same visual appeal, and recaptured a waning market. Mini sales in 2012 hit 300,000 cars, a figure not seen since 1971.

Of course, you will pay a lot more for a Mini today than in 1959 – but it’s worth it. Back then, you could get a Mini for slightly less than $1400, whereas today the car lists between about $20,000 and $23,000 depending on the model. Looking forward, the future for the Mini looks bright. BMW is planning to boost production at the Mini plant in Oxford, UK by 20,000 units a year, and has a number of new models in the starting blocks.
